All Farmers Crafty Markets are organised by Mi’Community Events which is part of Eccleshill Community Association Ltd (“ECA”) a not for profit community charity. Please be aware we do not have any staff and all work and organisation is undertaken by volunteers for the benefit of the Mechanics Institute and the wider community.
Our objective is for every person entering the building to have an enjoyable experience while ensuring the financial viability of the Mechanics Institute and the Community Association.
A few requirements we need of you if you are booking a stall.

Public Liability Insurances
It is a condition of ECA insurers that all stallholders carry their own Public Liability Insurance. A copy of your insurance will be required prior to setting up your stall.
If you are unable to provide Public Liability Insurance you will be required to sign a disclaimer that you are aware you are not insured while in the building selling your products and or services.

An invoice for your booking(s) will be sent to you by email.
Your booking will be completed once full payment is received.
Your booking will only be confirmed once you have paid the stall fee which is to be made not less than three clear days prior to the event (for a Saturday Market payment must be made by no later than 23:59 on the Tuesday prior to the event).
Your payment is made by way of a non-refundable deposit to secure your stall

Payments can be made by cash/card by calling in to the Mechanics between 9:00 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday
Stalls will be set out prior to your arrival.
The position of each stall will be on the table plan as you arrive, any rearrangement of your table must be approved by Sharon or Julie. ~~
If you are bringing your own table, please let us know in advance.
Each stall will have a table and two chairs as part of the set up.
There may be different set-ups for specific events such as the Christmas Markets.
You are invited to commence setting up from 08:00 a.m.
Your stall should be set ready for the market to open by 9:50 a.m.
Times may be subject to change for different events.
Decamp should not be started until 15 mins prior to the Market end time.
You agree to sell only goods and or services as detailed in your booking form. We reserve the right to stop the sales of any goods or services that have not been agreed on the booking form.
This is to ensure we are fair in our approach to not have duplicate goods being sold.
All stalls selling food stuffs must prominently display their statutory Food Hygiene Certificate at all times.
